-Rinse: Once you remove your aligner, it’s best to rinse it. If you don’t, the dry saliva and plaque on your appliance can create a breeding ground for bacteria that will smell less than appealing.
-Soak: Keep your aligner clear and sanitized by soaking it in denture cleaner, Retainer Brite, or the official Invisalign cleaning crystals. Brush your aligner gently with your toothbrush, so that you don’t scratch it and it won’t be invisible anymore.
-Teeth: Brush and floss your teeth before you put your aligner back in your mouth. Brushing will help keep the harmful particles from getting trapped between your teeth and aligner, which is beneficial because it’ll help you prevent tooth decay and other dental issues.
